Hardwood flooring refers to solid or engineered planks made from actual wood – species like red oak, white oak, maple, hickory, Brazilian cherry, or walnut. Solid hardwood is milled from a single piece of wood. Engineered hardwood has a real wood veneer bonded to a plywood core, giving it greater dimensional stability in humid environments like Charlotte.

It’s also 100% waterproof – spills, pet accidents, and Charlotte’s humid summers have no impact on LVP’s structural integrity. You can install it in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements where solid hardwood is not recommended.
